WE REALLY NEED THE HELP OF LOCAL CHURCHES, LINK UP PARTNERS, AND LEADERS!
Do you remember Devon? On Christmas Day, 2009, she hit a truck, broke her neck, and has been left paralyzed as a result of the wreck. To help you remember her, I have placed three attachements to this LINK UP with Devon Bulletin.
Just in case you are not able to open up the Poster that Shutterbug made, I'll give you the details below.
BFC BENEFIT RIDE (Devon is so well known in her community, her school, and in the local biker world, that there should be many, many, riders who will show up at Wade's Western Wear in Coal Grove on July 31.)
The Lord has strongly laid it on BFC Elder Roy - Southern Ohio and BFC Elder Jim - River Cities, and upon our Road Captains, and on the rest of the BFC Brotherhood to sponsor the event and to provide the food for the all-day event (Sign up at 11:00 AM - Ride starts at 1:00 PM - Returning Riders and visitors at Wade's will need to be fed.)
All proceeds will go directly to Devon and her Family.
If you are a LINK UP Leader or Partner, and are sensing the promptings of The Spirit of Compassion, would you see if your church family would LINK UP with us as we LINK UP with Devon and her Parents? We will need food donations. Of course, it would be wonderful if you wanted to come to Wade's in Coal Grove and get to meet all the wonderful people who love this little teenager so much. So, please roll this around in your heart long enough to sense what God is telling you and let me know if He is leading you to help us BFCers. More than likely, I will need to get some further details about the kinds of foods needed; and when I do; I will certainly tell you the specifics.
